That's the message from the latest nutritional research.  95% of all dieters soon put any weight lost back on.  But the position isn't hopeless.  Most experts agree that the psychological element in being overweight is the most important.  Using hypnosis you can use the most powerful force in the world - the power of the mind - to help you implement new, corrective eating habits into your life easily and effortlessly.

Difficulties you may have with snacking, eating too much too quickly, eating the wrong kinds of food, comfort eating, and so on can be overcome effectively and permanently.

It is usually advisable to think in terms of at least three sessions of hypnotherapy to get the most out of this programme.  Each session comprises relaxing in hypnosis whilst your sub-conscious is re-programmed with powerful suggestions and visualisations.  You will then be asked to play a tape or CD at home after each session to reinforce the effects of the suggestions.

Most clients comment on how easy and pleasant it is to lose weight in this way.  It is also a natural way to change your shape - no harmful effects which can come from crash dieting for example.

Sometimes overeating, etc. can be linked to underlying negative emotions from past traumas - in other words you may be eating to mask or anaesthetise an underlying emotion or anxiety.  If this is the case (and I usually check if it is during the first session) we may need to clear the block caused by this negative emotion.  This is done either with hypnotherapy or EFT.  Once any emotional blockages are cleared, losing weight occurs naturally.

My 'World Record' slimmer was a lady who came to me weighing approximately 19 stone.  After a prolonged course of hypnotherapy, she weighed just over 10 stone - effectively halving her body weight.  Her life and confidence improved dramatically as a result.
